5 Reasons You Do Not Attract the Opportunities You Desire

Mar 08, 2024

Some people are unaware that the Infinite Mind is always answering their wishes. When they do not receive what they desire, they believe they are being ignored. This, in time, leads them to feel insignificant. They don’t understand that they often broadcast a split intention to the Infinite Mind. To understand what they’re asking for, they need to look at the situation from a different perspective. Let’s say, for example, you want a new job. You try to transmit this desire to the Infinite Mind of the Universe, and you wait, but the new opportunity doesn’t appear.

Why?

There are five common reasons the opportunity does not appear.

  • You keep distracting yourselves.

You keep distracting yourself with the whys of what we are asking. This method will never allow you to achieve your desire because the vibration you project is more about the reason you have launched the desire than the desire itself. You stay in your head instead of feeling the joy of what you desire, making the desire impotent. As a result, you may become even more frustrated.

  • You have remained focused on your old job/present situation

Remaining focused on what you do not want (in this case, our old job), you cannot attract a new situation. When you do not keep your focus and your imagination on what you want, you cannot use your imagination to achieve a vibratory match with the new opportunity you desire. You continue to be aware of the boredom and frustration associated with your present position. In conversations with yourself, you say that you can’t wait to leave this job and listen to all the reasons you need a career change. You cannot welcome the new when holding on to the past. To welcome the new you must always concentrate on the joy of having what you want instead of the dread of having what you do not want.

  • You are using your imagination and attention against yourself

What you consistently imagine with feeling, the Universe gives you more of. When your emotions are staying attached to the negative feeling of your current situation, the Universe assumes this is what you desire. You cannot ask the Mind of the Universe when you are feeling needy or desperate. The Universe will always fill the result you receive with a sense of scarcity and inadequacy.

When you focus your attention on the need for a new job, you are asking the Universe for more of something that will make you feel need. The key word is feel. Whatever you feel the strongest is what the Universe interprets as what you desire, which is manifested in your life. The Universe is translating this (or any) strong and consistent feeling as your desire and is honoring your request by giving you more of it. You receive what feelings you fill your life with.

The bottom line is that you are using your focus and imagination against yourself. You cannot receive what you desire and continue thinking and feeling the same way you have in the past. To change your circumstances, you must focus on the joy and delight of achieving your desire.

  • When you articulate, you stress what you do not want

The ability to be clear about your intentions is important. What you stress (focus on) is what you get. Focusing on the joy of attracting what you desire, will assure you or receiving your wish. You must listen to your inner self-talk and remember that it shows your unconscious thinking. Not only is your self-talk and what you are receiving in life related; they are a perfect vibratory match.

  • You are not congruent

Asking the Universe for what you want requires more than words. What you say you want and what you have most of your attention and emotions on are very often different things. If you cannot feel deep joy, ownership, and harmony while focusing on something you desire, something within you is not in congruence or in harmony with receiving what you want. And you will not attract it.

You have choices between what you want and what you don’t. Often, even when you believe you are thinking about something you desire, you are unaware you are thinking about its exact opposite.

“I want more money,” often means, “I don’t want to be poor.” “I want a relationship,” often means, “I don’t want to be alone.” “I want a new car,” often means, “I don’t want to feel so unsafe while driving,” or “I do not want to look so unsuccessful in this old car.” “I want more energy,” often means, “I do not want to feel so tired.” “I want a better job,” often means, “I don’t want to feel like a failure.”

The Infinite Mind of the Universe is being sent the wrong message in the examples above. Whenever you create from a wanting feeling or need (vibration), they doom you to failure. If you cannot feel deep joy, ownership, and harmony while focusing on something you desire, something within you is not in congruence with the desire. This means something within you is not ready or able to receive it.

The question is, how do you know when you are ready to attract and receive what you want? The point when you feel deep joy, a sense of ownership, and harmony while focusing on what you desire.
